My Own Journey
Hello, my name is John Wayan Sullivan. I’m a former artist and photographer, now a documentary filmmaker and creative guide.I’ve always been curious about the journey creatives take when making their art, and the challenges they face along the way.For me, having my art judged and feeling rejected from a young age led me to create from a need to prove others wrong and tying my worth to my work. I never felt good enough and attracted projects that left me resentful, and slowly lost my connection to why I got into my art form in the first place. When I found the Gene Keys, they helped me reclaim the connection to myself. Giving me the space to feel safe enough to fall in love with my creativity again, while living a healthier and more balanced life. Now I’d love to share that with you.
